Established in May 2019, SEABOTS is a company specialising in the development of marine robotics and unmanned surface vehicles (USVs).

Its activity is focused on the analysis, conservation and restoration of the marine environment through the application of cutting-edge technologies.

SEABOTS has successfully carried out more than 150 missions aimed at the study and preservation of the aquatic environment. The organization counts on an extensive network of partners in Europe, Asia and America and is involved in several European R&D projects.

The aim is to provide the best solutions to automate and digitalize marine operations.
Our interdisciplinary efforts allow us great agility in offering practical solutions reducing operational costs, as well as drastically increasing operator safety.

SEABOTS is a spin-off of GPAINNOVA, a technology group established in 2013 in Barcelona, with subsidiaries in Sunrise (Florida, USA), Hong Kong and Shenzhen (Mainland China) and specializing in surface metal finishing machinery with its brands DLyte and MURUA; marine robotics with SEABOTS; medical devices with GPAMEDICAL, and high-performance power electronics with POWER INNOTECH. The synergy between the different companies of the group allows us to face large-scale projects, maintaining an agile and versatile attitude.

GPAINNOVA has a team of more than 180 professionals on staff, including more than 40 engineers; 55 distributors, more than 600 worldwide clients, allowing for a turnover of €26 million in 2022 (12% more than the previous year). GPAINNOVA was selected by Financial Times among the 1,000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies between 2020 and 2023. It is also the second Europe’s fastest-growing companies in the mechanical engineering sector, being the first one in Spain.

Seabots was selected, among 174 applicants, as one of the three finalists in the 2023 Metropolitan Business Innovation Awards (Barcelona) in the category of Industry 4.0.
